MODERN DAY CHARMING…
Hello Everyone,
Well, this project was such fun to work on, we took a very traditional space filled with oak trim and lots of busy cabinet profiles, and turned it into a modern, sleek and clean space. We took all the baseboards and trim and changed them out to very simple clean lines, added a beautiful hardwood floor, changed all the cabinets to flat front but the most significant change was the new glass railing, it is the first thing you see when you walk into the space and we think the most dramatic. This space has a very clean and elegant look, all traces of traditional style are gone and in it’s place is “Modern Day Charming”. Take a look…

A modern kitchen with flat front cabinets and shiny glass backsplash is welcoming and warm.
Such a dramatic change, we opened up the space by removing the old pony wall, moving it over and turning it into this beautiful modern glass railing.
Adding flat front cabinets works so well with all the modern touches.
Beautiful “slate” stainless steel appliances add a great touch of colour to this modern kitchen.
What a pretty design element, very modern and sleek, perfect to open up this space.
Great new 3 panel solid core doors with some new gorgeous hardware.

T&T (Tips and Tricks)
T&T – When you want to change the style of your home, say from traditional to modern, make sure you consider every detail, baseboards, doors, trim and cabinets, and don’t forget hardware, flooring and furnishings. All the elements combined will result in a dramatic change.
T&T – When transitioning from tile to hardwood, try to blend them together, picking similar colours and finishes, that way, the space will feel bigger.
